Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

Lenslog ("the Service") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the Service handles and how it is protected. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The Service does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number. No account or sign-in is required.

Any information you enter about your contact lenses or solutions (product names, opening dates, stock counts, etc.) is stored exclusively in your browser on your device (local storage). It is never transmitted to or stored on the Service’s servers.

2. Information Collected Automatically

To improve the Service and understand usage, we may collect anonymous analytics (such as page views, browser type, approximate region, and referral source). This information cannot be used to identify you individually.

We intend to use privacy-respecting analytics tools and do not use analytics to track individuals.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Service may use cookies or similar technologies to provide functionality and to serve advertising.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work correctly as a result.

For users in the EU and UK, we request prior consent for analytics and advertising cookies through a consent management mechanism.

4. Advertising

To cover operating costs, the Service may display advertising served by third parties (such as Google AdSense).

These providers may use cookies to collect information about your visits to this and other sites in order to show ads relevant to your interests.

You can opt out of Google’s use of advertising cookies via Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com). For how other third-party providers handle cookies, please review their respective policies.

5. Affiliate Links

The Service is a participant in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. If you purchase a product through a link on the Service, we may earn a referral commission.

Using affiliate links does not increase the price you pay.

6. Data Storage and Control

As noted above, data you enter is stored only on your device. You can delete all records at any time by clearing your browser data.

Because data is stored on your device, it may not carry over if you clear your browser data, use a different device or browser, or browse in private/incognito mode.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information.

Because the Service does not hold personally identifying information, in most cases you can exercise these rights yourself by clearing your browser data. If you have questions, please contact the operator.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as needed. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date on this page.

10. Contact

For questions about this policy, please contact the operator of the Service.

Note: This document is a practical template, not legal advice. We recommend having it reviewed by a qualified professional before public launch.
